Bike and Summer Storage

Bike Storage

It is important that you secure your bike in the proper designated areas and register your bike with Department of Transportation and Parking Management. We recommend using U-Lock bike locks to lock your bike. With the U-Lock, place the lock through the frame, front or rear wheel, and a bike rack. Please be cautious of signs where you cannot lock your bike.

Limited indoor bike storage is available in O’Brien Hall. Reserve your indoor bike storage through the area office. Indoor bike storage is only available during the academic year and you must remove your bike at the end of each semester.

Outdoor bike rakes are located throughout campus. See the University’s biking page for a list of locations.

Bikes left on campus (both inside campus building or in outdoor locations) after you have departed for the semester will be considered abandoned property and donated.

You can register your bike with the Department of Transportation and Parking Management by filling out their online bike registration form.

Summer Storage

The 911±¬ÁÏÍø does not handle summer storage for students. Students looking to store personal items over the summer will need to use an outside storage company.

While the University cannot endorse any of these companies, many students look for storage options over the summer. Here are a number in the area that our students frequently use. Some require the items be brought to them, and some will pick up and deliver to the residence halls.
